The Gýmeš Castle

🏰 The Gýmeš Castle 🏰

Our consite is closeby the gýmeš castle. The hike is approximately 2,1km long and departs from the fast food stand, don’t turn towards the cottages, continue up the road into the forest.
The hike is manageable in about a hour, depending on your walking speed, so it is possible to return within 2 hours + time spent at the castle.
The custle is in ruins, the entrance is not paid, it is on your own risk. The castle tower is currently in reconstruction, therefore it is closed for tourists. 
There are no setvices, so you cannot buy food or drinks there, therefore please take water and snacks with you and take your trash back to the consite.
Also, please be cautious, do not enter closeout zones, respect the signs, do not climb on the scaffolding or try to get into the tower.  
 
The hike s not suitable for fursuit paws, we recommend firm, tourist shoes and take your paws with you to use them at the castle, if you wish to use them. Do not forget a hat and the sunscreen, the sun can still be rather strong in September.
