What is Furry R Con?
Furry R Con is an event organized by the Furry R Con team with the aim of building and maintaining interpersonal relationships within the furry community.
Where and when is the Convention taking place?
The convention takes place at Chata pod Gýmeš near the village of Jelenec in Slovakia. The exact dates and additional information are available on the main page of the website Convention.
What are the official languages of the Convention?
The official languages of the convention are Slovak and English.
Registration and participation
Who can attend the convention?
The convention is strictly 18+. Attendance is only possible after registration approval, accommodation selection, and payment completion.
Is it possible to attend without accommodation?
No. Attendance at Furry R Con is only possible with accommodation included in the registration package.
How can I register?
Registration is completed online through the Furry R Con registration system. Before registering, you need to create a user account on the website.
Until when is registration open?
The registration deadline is 10th of August and may change depending on available capacity.
What should I do after registration?
After your registration has been approved, payment must be completed within 7 business days according to the instructions provided by the organizing team. Please include your nickname in the payment note.
Is it possible to extend the payment deadline?
Yes. If you need more time for payment, please contact the organizing team. The payment deadline may be individually extended by paying a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the registration package (€40), which will later be deducted from the total registration price.
Can I cancel or refund my registration?
Registrations may be transferred to another person after agreement with the organizing team, but registration payments are non-refundable.
Can I update my registration details later?
Yes. If you need to change any information in your registration, please contact the organizing team as soon as possible.
Rules and Safety
What must attendees comply with during the event?
Participants must comply with all applicable laws of the Slovak Republic, the Rules and Conditions, cottage rules, silence hours from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are allowed for an additional fee. Owners are fully responsible for their pets and any damage caused during the convention.
What should I do in case of harassment or a problem?
If you experience any problems or feel unsafe, please contact a member of the organizing team or staff marked with “ORG/Staff” or a blue lanyard.
Are ID card required?
Yes. All attendees must visibly wear their assigned ID cards in public areas.
Are weapons or props allowed?
Real weapons are strictly prohibited. Props, replicas, or items resembling weapons must be approved in advance by the organizing team.
Safety and behavior
What to do in case of harassment or a problem?
If you have any problem or complaint, please contact the members of the organizational/staff team, who will be marked with the word "ORG/Staff". Or a blue lanyard.
What are the obligations of the participants?
Participants must protect their health, the health of others, respect the needs of other participants, observe nighttime peace and applicable laws.
Are ID cards required at the event?
Yes, each participant must visibly wear their assigned ID card in public areas (outside of the rooms).
Meals and Accommodation
Is food included in the price?
Breakfast is included in the basic registration package. Lunch and dinner options may be added during registration for an additional fee.
Is there a difference between cottages and the main building?
Yes. The main differences are room capacity and equipment. Some cottages also include a kitchenette.
Photos and Personal Data
Will photos and videos be taken during the convention?
Yes. By attending the convention, you agree that photographs and audiovisual recordings taken during the event may be used for promoting Furry R Con and future editions.
How is my personal data processed?
Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and Slovak legislation. Your data is used only to the extent necessary for organizing the convention.
